I have learned so much from your program; I can’t even express how much of a better swimmer I have become. There are so many things that I learned. To start, I learned how to relax in the pool (something that had been hard for me to accomplish before your class). I also learned how to be efficient swimmer. I understand why it is important to count my strokes and how to decrease my stroke count by being in my streamline (ready) position. I now understand why balance is an essential part of swimming.

The program was suggested to me by a friend. When I started the program I was pretty scared to swim with my face in the water. I did the Danskin last year and did the side stroke and I was not comfortable in the open water. I will be doing my first open water event this weekend on June 4. I am so much stronger now than when I began the classes and more confident in my swimming. Now I will see how I do in the open water. I can’t thank you all enough for helping me through my fears. When I started Lisa’s program, I was barely able to swim 25 meters without gasping for air – and given that I had committed to Danskin triathlon in 12 weeks, I really needed some help. At the end of the spring program, I was able to complete my first Danskin race – and now will be swimming in a one-mile open water swim this year. By learning drills to improve my stroke and structured workouts to improve my endurance, swimming has gone from being the “dreaded” portion of the triathlon to my best event. — Carol Lynn Langer

I would recommend this program for any level athlete.
The coaches are always willing to cater to your individual needs. It is a great size and takes place in a nice pool in a central location. You always feel like you got a great workout, it is well worth the money! I have been swimming competitively since I was 10 and this is the best class I have ever been in. Again, I would recommend this class to anyone wanted a great workout in a structured but relaxed and friendly atmosphere! – Merete Thune
